SAFE-D On-Demand Training

To help ESD commissioners get their required training during this time of social distancing, SAFE-D has arranged to provide seven courses for a total of 10 hours of certified training. Texas A&M V.G. Young's Institute of County Government has relaxed its interactivity requirements to all for these special courses. These courses expire Dec. 31, 2021. Longtime ESD Attorney Ken Campbell – who’s also a volunteer firefighter and ESD commissioner – sits down with SAFE-D to answer questions on legal issues that face Texas emergency services districts. This is an introductory course designed for persons who are just getting involved with Emergency Services Districts or for veterans who would like a refresher course.
