Hill Country/Central Texas Flood Relief Resources
Everyone at SAFE-D and the ESD Community is thinking and praying for those affected by the devastating storms and flooding in the Hill Country and Central Texas over the July 4th weekend. Our hearts go out to those who have suffered losses and we stand with the brave first responders helping the rescue and recovery efforts.

The Center Point Volunteer Fire Department is accepting online donations through its Venmo account. When donating to the fire department, people should look for the username CPVFDTX. (The department also accepts checks by mail.)

For those ESDs that have suffered property loss, here is some advice for submitting insurance claims (from our friends at VFIS)
The sooner your claim is submitted, the faster adjusters can begin assisting.
Vehicle Damage

Take clear photos showing the water line on the vehicle. This helps adjusters determine the extent of the damage and necessary repairs.
Property Damage

Set aside damaged property for inspection.

Create an inventory list of all damaged items.

If your building has flooded, contact a mitigation contractor immediately to begin water extraction and limit further loss.
